Three Shires Saddlery & Harness
Getting your leathers to fit perfectly on a Highland Pony can be really difficult.
Due to the natural build of a Highland Pony, many of the standard fit and ready made items are either too big or too small.
A great example is the Stallion Roller that we use to show Eider in. This needs to be the perfect fit in order to show him off at his best. If you are looking to show a highland stallion, we would recommend that you have one made.

TailGator
When showing a Highland Pony, the tail should look natural and full. The challenge with this is that a long natural tail can get damaged when left unprotected whilst the pony is turned out.
A tail bag is the way forward and importantly you want one that is durable, breathable and one that stays in position.
At Manor Born Highlands, we use tail bags from TailGator. They provide tail bags in a selection of different colours and sizes. Most importantly they are not only really durable, they are also really easy to use. Simply plait the tail and feed the tail bag fastener through the plait, as this will hold the tail bag securely in place. What's more there is a step by step guide on the TailGator website.
NEIGHKED
NEIGHKED provides human spa grade products that have been adapted for horses.
At Manor Born Highlands, we have been using NEIGHKED products for some time now. Ranging from supplements that we add to our daily feeds, to our grooming products that we use not only for showing but for our day to day care of the ponies.
All grooming products are silicone free which help protect the manes and tails of the ponies, leading to healthier, stronger and fuller hair.
There are a number of different wellness products available, personally we use Skin-Tonic that helps promote a healthily show quality coat, and makes show prep so much easier.
Nose Bagz
Nose Bagz create bespoke handmade hayfeeds that are durable, easy to use and also help to maintain a natural eating position for all horses.
At Manorborn Highlands we prefer a manger style feeder rather than a haynet, not only for ease when feeding the ponies but also as the ponies prefer the eating position in comparison to a net haynet.
These haynets are very easy to use and come with all of the fixings that you require.
What's more you can choose from a selection of colours as well as the option to personalise. Needless to say, all of ours are branded with the stud name and colour.

Manor Born has been a registered prefix with the Highland Pony society since 2022.
Although we had the name, the next important step was to create with logo and branding.
It was virtually important for us to make sure that the logo and branding had a heritage feel and was in keeping with our core values.
By working with Elliot, we worked to create the concept of the logo and the key colours for the branding. Thanks to the creative genius that is Elliot, the logo soon began to take shape.
